Dr. Chintan Patel brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to veterinary medicine, with experience spanning general practice, emergency, and specialty care. Before becoming a licensed veterinarian in New Jersey, he worked as a veterinary technician in emergency and specialty hospitals, building strong clinical skills and an appreciation for collaborative patient care. As a Fear Free Certified veterinarian, Dr. Patel is passionate about preventive medicine, client education, and making veterinary visits less stressful while helping pet parents feel informed and confident in their pet’s care. He has a special fondness for puppies and kittens and finds it especially rewarding to help pets build a healthy foundation for every stage of life.

Dr. Justin Johnrose brings more than 20 years of experience across veterinary medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, and animal care. Growing up surrounded by animals sparked a lifelong fascination with veterinary medicine and the human-animal bond. As a Fear Free Certified veterinarian, he is passionate about solving clinical challenges while providing thoughtful, practical care that help pet parents feel informed and confident in the decisions they make for their pets. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Johnrose enjoys the outdoors, recently completed his first marathon, and is training for an Olympic-distance triathlon.

Throughout her career, she has served as a practicing veterinarian, Medical Director, Regional Medical Director, and Vice President of Operations, helping advance medical excellence and support veterinary teams in delivering exceptional care. She is passionate about creating strong connections between pets, the people who love them, and the veterinary professionals entrusted with their care. Outside of veterinary practice, Dr. Bowman and her husband are active in wildlife rescue, extending their commitment to animal wellbeing well beyond the hospital.

A Certified Veterinary Technician, Melissa brings a strong foundation in veterinary care and has a special interest in senior pet care and emergency medicine. She was drawn to veterinary medicine by the opportunity to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves and help protect their health throughout every stage of life. Melissa especially values building lasting relationships with pets and their families and finds few things more rewarding than seeing a sick pet return to the hospital feeling better. Outside of veterinary care, she enjoys exploring new places, painting, crocheting, creating miniatures, and working with clay.

She is passionate about creating positive, comfortable experiences for pets and especially loves first visits with puppies and kittens, where she can help them feel safe and at ease while building positive associations with veterinary care for the future. Alexis values the opportunity to keep learning while making each interaction a reassuring one for both pets and their families. A longtime cat lover, she has also developed a new appreciation for dogs thanks to her recently rescued pug.
